AS Monaco has confirmed that midfielder Wanderson has sustained an injury in training and is set to miss the remainder of the season.
The Brazilian international, who joined the club on loan from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, was forced off during the 2-1 win over Nantes on Saturday with an apparent ankle problem.
He underwent further tests on Monday and it has been revealed that he will be out for several weeks with a ligament tear.
