Omorodion Joins FC Porto As New Player

Nigerian footballer, Victor Moses has joined Portuguese club, FC Porto on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season.

The move was announced by both clubs in a joint statement on Wednesday.

Moses will be eligible to play for the Portuguese champions when he returns to Stamford Bridge at the end of his loan period.

The 25-year-old Nigerian international is expected to provide competition for the likes of Bruno Alves and Raul Meireles in midfield.

He made his debut for Nigeria's national team in a friendly match against Tunisia in November last year.

In January, he scored two goals in a 4-1 win over Egypt.

Moses' arrival at Porto comes after the club had lost star midfielder Tiago Mendes to injury earlier this month.

The former Manchester City player is currently on loan at Italian side Udinese.

Meanwhile, FC Porto have also signed Spanish defender,Primeira Liga Hotspots Pablo Martinez on loan from Real Madrid.
